The BYD Song Plus DM-i is a compact crossover SUV that combines a 1.5L petrol engine (74 kW) with a front permanent magnet motor (132/145/160 kW) for outstanding efficiency. It offers pure-electric ranges of 75-160 km (CLTC) depending on battery size (12.9-26.6 kWh), and a combined range of up to 1500 km, making it ideal for long-distance travel without range anxiety. An AWD variant adds a 120 kW rear motor for extra traction. Exported as the Sealion 6 / Seal U DM-i, it features BYD's Super DM-i hybrid system.
