- Brazil — its EV import tariff has been on a scheduled step-up (part of a multi-year phase-out of the earlier zero-tariff EV window), now in the 18-35% range and still rising.
- Colombia — kept a reduced tariff specifically for EVs versus combustion vehicles.
- Kazakhstan / Russia — EAEU recycling fees apply on top of the base duty and are adjusted periodically.
